Products & Quality
How LUVO formulas are made, tested, and labeled.
How is LUVO different from other supplement brands?
Three commitments: clinically informed dosing (we formulate to the amounts used in published research, not a sprinkle for the label), third-party testing on every batch, and full label transparency — every ingredient and every milligram disclosed. No proprietary blends, no fillers, no hype about who you'll "become."
Are your products third-party tested?
Yes. Every batch is independently tested for identity, potency, and purity before it ships — including screens for heavy metals and microbial contamination. Testing is done by labs that don't work for us, so the results mean something.
Where are LUVO products made?
Our products are manufactured in the USA in a GMP-certified (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility that is independently audited. GMP certification covers everything from raw-material verification to equipment cleaning logs.
Do your products contain fillers or proprietary blends?
No proprietary blends, ever — if you can't see the milligrams, you can't check the science, and we think that's the point of a label. Ingredient lists are kept as short as the formula allows, and everything in the bottle is on the label.
Are LUVO products vegan, non-GMO, or gluten-free?
Most of our formulas are vegan and non-GMO, and we avoid unnecessary allergens across the line. Because this varies by product (gummies, for example, differ from capsules), check the "Supplement Facts" panel on each product page — it reflects exactly what's on the physical label.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A COA is the lab report showing what a specific batch was tested for and the results. Every LUVO batch has one. If you'd like the COA for the batch you received, email support@luvosupps.com with your lot number (printed on the bottle) and we'll send it over.
How should I store my supplements?
Cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight — a cupboard beats a bathroom shelf, since humidity is the main enemy. Keep the lid tight, leave the desiccant packet in the bottle, and keep everything out of reach of children.
Ingredients & Safety
Who our products are for, and when to check with a professional first.
Are LUVO supplements safe?
We use well-studied ingredients at clearly labeled doses, tested for purity on every batch. That said, "supplement" is a broad category and everyone's health context is different — read the warnings section on each product page, and when in doubt, ask your physician. You know your body better than we do.
Can I take LUVO products while pregnant or nursing?
Please talk to your physician before using any supplement while pregnant or nursing. Many ingredients we use (adaptogens in particular) haven't been studied in pregnancy, so we don't recommend them during this time unless your doctor specifically approves.
Will your products interact with my medications?
Some can. For example, certain ingredients may interact with blood thinners, blood-pressure or blood-sugar medication, thyroid medication, sedatives, or immunosuppressants. Each product page lists known interaction warnings — bring the ingredient list to your doctor or pharmacist before starting anything new.
Is there an age requirement?
Our products are formulated for adults 18 and over. If you're considering a supplement for someone younger, that's a conversation for their pediatrician, not a checkout page.
Do any products contain caffeine or stimulants?
Most LUVO formulas are stimulant-free. The exceptions are clearly labeled — our Energy Powder line contains caffeine, and the amount per serving is printed on the label and the product page. If you're sensitive to caffeine, check the Supplement Facts panel before ordering.
What about allergens?
We formulate to avoid major allergens wherever possible, and anything relevant is declared on the label. If you have a serious allergy, read the full ingredient list on the product page (it matches the bottle) and contact support@luvosupps.com if anything is unclear — we'd rather answer twice than have you guess once.
Can I take multiple LUVO products together?
Generally yes — that's what stacks are. The main rule: don't double up on the same active ingredient across two products, and introduce one new product at a time so you know what's doing what. The Find My Stack quiz pairs products that complement rather than overlap.
Usage & Results
Timing, consistency, and what a realistic timeline looks like.
When will I feel results?
Honest answer: it depends on the ingredient. Some things work within the hour (caffeine, electrolytes). Most of what we make — adaptogens, magnesium, creatine, mushroom extracts — builds with consistent daily use over 2–4 weeks, because that's how the underlying biology works. The studies we cite on each product page used daily protocols, not single doses.
When should I take my supplements?
Follow the directions on each label — some formulas favor morning (energy, focus), some favor evening (sleep, magnesium). But the honest hierarchy is: consistency beats timing, and timing beats nothing. Pick a time you'll actually remember.
Should I take them with food or on an empty stomach?
Each product page's "How to Use" section covers this. As a general rule, fat-soluble ingredients absorb better with a meal, and anything that bothers your stomach when empty won't bother it with food. When the research doesn't show a meaningful difference, we say so.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing dramatic. Just take your normal dose the next day — don't double up. For ingredients that build over weeks (like creatine or ashwagandha), one missed day barely moves the needle. Ten missed days do.
Can I take more than the recommended dose?
No. The dose on the label is the dose the research supports — more isn't better, it's just more. If you feel like a product isn't working, give it the full 4 weeks and check your consistency before you change anything.
How do I know which products are right for me?
Take the Find My Stack quiz — five questions about your goals, and it recommends a two-product stack with the reasoning spelled out. Final call is always yours; every recommendation links to the research on the product page.
Orders & Shipping
Getting your order from our shelf to your door.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You'll get a confirmation email when you order and another with tracking when it ships. Transit time depends on your location — most US orders arrive within a week of shipping.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders over $50. Below that, the exact rate is calculated at checkout based on your address.
How do I track my order?
Your shipping confirmation email contains a tracking link. If the tracking hasn't updated in a few days, carriers sometimes scan late — but if something looks stuck, email support@luvosupps.com with your order number and we'll chase it.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If it hasn't shipped yet, usually yes. Email support@luvosupps.com as soon as possible with your order number and what you'd like changed — address updates, swaps, or cancellation. Once a package is with the carrier we can't redirect it, but the 90-day guarantee still has you covered.
My order arrived damaged or something is missing. What do I do?
Email support@luvosupps.com with your order number and a photo of what arrived. We'll replace damaged or missing items — you won't be asked to jump through hoops for something that's our (or the carrier's) fault.
My tracking says delivered, but I don't have the package.
First, check with neighbors and around your delivery area — carriers sometimes mark packages delivered a few hours early. If it hasn't turned up within 48 hours, contact support@luvosupps.com and we'll sort it out with the carrier or reship.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. If you're outside the US and want LUVO, email support@luvosupps.com — knowing where demand is helps us decide where to expand.
Returns & the 90-Day Guarantee
If it's not for you, we make it right.
What is the 90-day money-back guarantee?
Every first order of a product is covered for 90 days from delivery. If it's not for you — wrong fit, no results, changed your mind — contact us and we'll refund it. We set it at 90 days on purpose: most of our formulas need 2–4 weeks of consistent use to judge fairly, and we don't want the clock to pressure you.
How do I request a refund?
Email support@luvosupps.com with your order number and a sentence about why it wasn't for you (it genuinely helps us improve — this isn't a gate). We'll take it from there.
Do I need to send the bottle back?
Usually not — for most guarantee claims we won't ask you to ship anything back. Support will confirm the specifics when you reach out.
How long does a refund take?
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. Banks typically post them within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
Subscribe & Save
15% off every order, zero commitment, no dark patterns.
How does Subscribe & Save work?
Choose "Subscribe & Save" on any product page and pick your schedule — monthly, or every 3 months. You save 15% on every order, shipping is free, and it renews automatically until you say otherwise. No fees, no minimum number of orders.
Can I skip, pause, or cancel anytime?
Yes — all three, from your account, without emailing anyone or "speaking to retention." Skip a month if you're stocked up, pause for a trip, cancel outright. We keep customers by making products worth reordering, not by making cancellation annoying.
How do I manage my subscription?
Log in via Manage Subscription (also in the site menu). From there you can change delivery dates, swap products, update your address or payment method, skip, pause, or cancel.
Can I change the products or delivery schedule on my subscription?
Yes. In your account you can swap to a different product, change quantity, or switch between monthly and every-3-months delivery. Changes made before your next billing date apply to that order.
Will I be charged without warning?
No — you'll receive an email before each renewal ships, with enough lead time to skip or make changes. The renewal price is the same 15%-off price you signed up with.
If I cancel, will my already-placed order still ship?
Cancelling stops future renewals. An order that has already been billed and processed will still ship — and if you don't want it, the 90-day guarantee applies to it like any other order.
Payment & Rewards
Checkout, accounts, and earning points.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, plus express options like Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay where available. Payment options are shown at checkout.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Checkout runs on Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure — the same system used by millions of stores. We never see or store your full card details.
Do I need an account to place an order?
No — guest checkout works fine. An account is only required for managing subscriptions and collecting rewards points, and you can create one at any time (including after ordering).
How does LUVO Rewards work?
Tap the Rewards button in the navigation to join. You earn points on purchases and activities, then redeem them for discounts on future orders. Points live on your account, so sign in when you shop.
How do I contact support?
Email support@luvosupps.com or use the contact form. A human reads every message — include your order number if it's about an order, and we'll get back to you as fast as we can.
Supplement 101
Straight answers to the questions people actually ask about supplements — no hype, sources on every product page.
What does creatine actually do?
Creatine helps your muscles regenerate ATP — the energy currency used in short, intense efforts like lifting and sprinting. With 500+ human studies, it's the most-researched performance supplement in existence, shown to support strength, power output, and lean mass alongside training. LUVO Creatine Monohydrate is pure creatine monohydrate, the exact form used in that research.
Is it safe to take creatine every day?
Yes — daily use is exactly how creatine was studied. Long-term trials at standard daily doses in healthy adults report a strong safety profile; daily consistency is what keeps your muscle stores saturated. Drink plenty of water, and check with your doctor if you have kidney concerns.
Does creatine cause hair loss?
The evidence doesn't support this. The worry traces to a single small 2009 study that measured a hormone (DHT) increase — not actual hair loss — and it has never been replicated. Reviews of the research since have found no direct evidence that creatine causes hair loss.
When is the best time to take creatine?
Whenever you'll take it consistently. Creatine works by saturation, not timing — your muscles fill up over 3–4 weeks of daily use and stay full. Slight evidence favors post-workout with food, but the difference is small compared to simply never missing days.
What does ashwagandha do for you?
Ashwagandha is an adaptogen studied for supporting a healthy stress response — clinical trials on KSM-66® root extract report meaningful reductions in perceived stress and cortisol, plus better sleep quality. It's for people who feel wired-but-tired. Luvo Calm uses the clinically studied KSM-66® extract.
How long does ashwagandha take to work?
Most human studies run 8 weeks, with participants typically noticing a calmer baseline and better sleep in the first 2–4 weeks of daily use. It builds gradually — it's not a same-day effect like caffeine, so consistency matters more than timing.
Can I take ashwagandha every day?
Daily use is how ashwagandha was studied, and most trials ran 8–12 weeks continuously. Some people take periodic breaks, which is reasonable. Avoid it if pregnant or nursing, and talk to your doctor first if you take thyroid, sedative, or immunosuppressant medication.
Which type of magnesium is best for sleep?
Magnesium glycinate is the form most people choose for evenings: it's highly absorbable and bound to glycine, an amino acid with its own calming properties, and it's gentler on digestion than citrate or oxide. LUVO Magnesium Glycinate uses this form at a fully disclosed dose.
What's the difference between magnesium glycinate and citrate?
Both absorb well. Glycinate is bound to the calming amino acid glycine and is gentle on the stomach — the evening/relaxation choice. Citrate has a mild laxative effect at higher doses, so it's often used for regularity. Oxide, the cheapest form, is poorly absorbed.
Does magnesium help with sleep and stress?
Magnesium is involved in hundreds of processes including nervous-system regulation, and low intake is common. Research links adequate magnesium to better sleep quality and a steadier stress response, which is why the glycinate form is a staple evening supplement.
What is NMN and what does it do?
NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a direct precursor to NAD+, a coenzyme every cell uses for energy metabolism and repair — and one that declines measurably with age. Human trials show oral NMN reliably raises NAD+ levels. LUVO NMN is 99.9% pure β-NMN with the dose on the label.
What's the difference between NMN and NAD+ supplements?
You can't effectively swallow NAD+ itself — the molecule is too large to absorb well. Precursors like NMN are what your cells convert into NAD+. Some formulas pair precursors with supporting nutrients; compare the actual ingredient list and doses, which is why full label disclosure matters.
What are the benefits of lion's mane mushroom?
Lion's mane is studied for cognitive support — it contains compounds (hericenones and erinacines) researched for stimulating nerve growth factor (NGF), which supports neuroplasticity. People use it for focus and mental clarity without caffeine. LUVO Lion's Mane lists its full extract dose on the label.
Does lion's mane really work for focus?
Early human research is promising: small trials report improvements in cognitive scores with daily use over 8–16 weeks. It's a build-over-weeks supplement, not an instant stimulant — pair it with consistent sleep and you'll judge it fairly at the one-month mark.
What is berberine and why is it so popular?
Berberine is a plant compound studied in dozens of human trials for supporting healthy blood-sugar metabolism and lipid levels already in normal range. Social media nicknamed it 'nature's Ozempic' — that's marketing, not science: it is not a drug and doesn't replicate prescription medications. If you take blood-sugar medication, talk to your doctor before using berberine.
Is sea moss actually good for you?
Sea moss is a natural source of trace minerals, including iodine, and carrageenan-family fibers. It's a reasonable whole-food-style mineral supplement — the honest framing — rather than the cure-all social media suggests. Because of its iodine, people with thyroid conditions should check with their doctor. LUVO Sea Moss disclosed per-serving.
What is shilajit and what does it do?
Shilajit is a mineral-rich resin from high-altitude rock, standardized for fulvic acid. Small human studies have explored it for supporting energy, testosterone already in normal range, and mineral status in active men. Quality and purity testing matter enormously with shilajit — it's a resin, so third-party heavy-metal screening is non-negotiable. See LUVO's tested complex.
What are cordyceps good for?
Cordyceps is a functional mushroom studied for exercise capacity — research has explored its role in oxygen utilization (VO₂) and fatigue resistance during training. It's popular with runners and lifters as a non-stimulant energy tool. LUVO Cordyceps Energy Gummies pair it with a disclosed dose.
How many billion CFU should a probiotic have?
More isn't automatically better — strain selection and survivability matter more than raw CFU count. 10–20 billion CFU is a solid daily maintenance range; 40+ billion with prebiotics suits people wanting higher potency support. Start lower if you're new: 20B daily or 40B synbiotic.
Should probiotics be taken with or without food?
Research slightly favors taking probiotics with or just before a meal containing some fat — stomach acid is buffered by food, so more organisms survive the trip. More important: take them daily at a time you'll remember, since colonization depends on consistency.
Do apple cider vinegar capsules work as well as the liquid?
Capsules deliver the same acetic acid — the compound behind ACV's studied effects on appetite and post-meal blood-sugar response — without the taste or the tooth-enamel erosion of drinking vinegar. LUVO ACV capsules list the exact acetic-acid-standardized dose.
What supplements should I actually take every day?
Start with gaps, not hype: most people benefit from magnesium (widely under-consumed), omega-3s from diet, vitamin D if you're low on sun, and creatine if you train. Everything else should map to a specific goal — sleep, stress, focus, digestion. Our 60-second quiz builds a two-product starting stack from your goals.
Can supplements replace a healthy diet?
No — and any brand implying otherwise is selling you something. Supplements fill specific gaps and support specific goals on top of food, sleep, and training. That's why they're called supplements. The honest pitch: get the foundations right, then use targeted, clinically dosed tools where they help.
How do I know if a supplement is high quality?
Three checks: (1) every ingredient's exact dose on the label — no 'proprietary blends'; (2) third-party testing on every batch with a Certificate of Analysis you can request; (3) doses that match the published research, not a sprinkle for marketing. That's the standard LUVO holds itself to — apply it to any brand, including ours.
How long until supplements start working?
Depends on the mechanism. Same-hour: caffeine, electrolytes. Days-to-weeks: creatine (3–4 weeks to saturation), magnesium (often first week for sleep). Weeks-to-months: adaptogens like ashwagandha, lion's mane, NMN — typically 2–8 weeks of daily use. If a brand promises everything instantly, be suspicious. Honest timelines are on every LUVO product page.
