WHY IT WORKS

What REBUILD is for, stated plainly.

A recovery tool with a narrow, honest job — and we will tell you when whole protein would serve you better.

The 2:1:1 ratio, not a proprietary blend

5,000 mg of leucine, isoleucine and valine in the ratio the research used, plus L-glutamine. Every amount is on the label.

For the gap between meals

Built for the long stretch between lunch and a late session, or a morning workout you train through fasted, when whole protein is not practical.

Supports recovery after hard sessions

Amino acids are what your body rebuilds with. This gives it the three it burns through fastest during training.

Mixes clear, drinks easy

Half a scoop in 8 to 10 oz of cold water. No chalk, no shaker-bottle sludge, nothing to chew.

The Research

What branched-chain amino acids actually do.

Including the paper that argues against selling them to you as a protein replacement, because it is the most important one here.

  1. +22%

Myofibrillar protein synthesis rose 22% above placebo when trained men took BCAAs after resistance exercise. The same authors note the rise was smaller than what a complete protein produces.

Jackman SR, et al. Branched-Chain Amino Acid Ingestion Stimulates Muscle Myofibrillar Protein Synthesis following Resistance Exercise in Humans. Front Physiol. 2017.

  2. The catch

A review in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition argues that BCAAs alone cannot maximally stimulate muscle protein synthesis, because building muscle needs all nine essential amino acids, not three.

Wolfe RR. Branched-chain amino acids and muscle protein synthesis in humans: myth or reality? J Int Soc Sports Nutr. 2017.

  3. Soreness

A systematic review found BCAA supplementation reduced markers of exercise-induced muscle damage and soreness, but mainly in people with low muscle damage and a diet already adequate in protein.

Foure A, Bendahan D. Is Branched-Chain Amino Acids Supplementation an Efficient Nutritional Strategy to Alleviate Skeletal Muscle Damage? A Systematic Review. Nutrients. 2017.

Simple as 1 · 2 · 3

Half a scoop, around the session.

1

Half a scoop, cold water

Mix 6.5 g into 8 to 10 oz. Give it a minute to dissolve fully rather than drinking it gritty.

2

Time it around the session

Before, during or straight after training. On a rest day, use it between meals if the gap runs long.

3

Keep the protein coming

This sits alongside real protein, it does not replace it. Aim for a complete protein source in every main meal.

How to Use How to use REBUILD

Mix half a scoop (6.5 g) into 8 to 10 oz of cold water or your drink of choice. Give it a minute to dissolve fully. Best taken before training, during training, or between meals.

Coloured with beet powder and grape skin extract. Contains no caffeine.

Protein first If you are only going to get one thing right, make it total daily protein. BCAAs help around the edges of a diet that is already adequate.
Fasted training This is where BCAAs earn their place most clearly. Take half a scoop 15 minutes before an early session.
Sip it through On long sessions, mix it into your water bottle and drink across the hour instead of all at once.
Stack with creatine Creatine and BCAAs do different jobs and mix fine in the same bottle. Creatine is the one with the stronger evidence for strength.
Warnings Warnings & safety

Not a protein replacement

Three amino acids are not nine. If your daily protein intake is low, fix that first with food or a complete protein powder. This is a supplement to an adequate diet, not a shortcut around one.

Contains sucralose and acesulfame potassium

This flavour is sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame potassium and coloured with beet powder and grape skin extract. If you avoid non-nutritive sweeteners, this is not the product for you.

Talk to your doctor first

Speak with a healthcare professional before use if you have a medical condition, take prescription medication, or have any condition affecting how your body handles amino acids.

Do not exceed the serving

Stick to the recommended amount. Keep out of reach of children, and do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing.

Honeydew is surprisingly good

I expected this flavor to be odd, but it is light and easy. Great during hot workouts.

Not a heavy post-workout

I can drink it right after training and still eat dinner. No bloated shaker feeling.

Smart formula

The label is clear and the 2:1:1 dose is not hidden. That is why I picked this one.

Light and clean

Flavor is subtle, which I like. I use it for long gym days when protein is hours away.

Evening friendly

No caffeine, so I can use it after work and not pay for it at bedtime.

No clumps

Cold water, shake, done. It dissolves better than the last two BCAAs I tried.

Useful but honest

I appreciate that LUVO says protein still matters. This is a support product, and it works for that.

Some intra-workout drinks sit heavy. This one does not.

Watermelon note is clean

Not syrupy. Just enough flavor to make me drink more water during sessions.

Good recovery routine

Hard to measure soreness perfectly, but my recovery weeks have felt more predictable.

Works best cold

Use cold water. Room temp is fine, but cold makes the flavor much better.

No weird color aftertaste

A lot of powders taste like dye. This one tastes cleaner.

Good Questions

Everything you might be wondering about REBUILD.

Do BCAAs actually build muscle? +

They contribute, and on their own they are not enough. A 2017 trial found BCAAs raised muscle protein synthesis 22% above placebo after resistance training, and the same paper noted a complete protein does more. Building muscle needs all nine essential amino acids. Treat REBUILD as a tool for the gaps in a diet that already hits your protein target.

When should I take it? +

Before, during or after training, or between meals when the gap runs long. The clearest case is a fasted morning session, where you want amino acids available and a full meal is not realistic.

Can I take it with creatine or protein powder? +

Yes to both. Creatine does a different job and has stronger evidence for strength and power. If you are already drinking a whey shake around your session, that shake contains BCAAs and more, so REBUILD adds less on those days.

What is the 2:1:1 ratio? +

Two parts leucine to one part each of isoleucine and valine. It is the ratio used in most of the published research, and leucine is weighted heaviest because it is the amino acid most directly involved in signalling muscle protein synthesis.

Will it break a fast? +

Technically yes. Amino acids provide calories and prompt an insulin response, so a strict fast is broken. If your fast is about training in a low-food state rather than absolute abstinence, most people find half a scoop acceptable. Decide which version of fasting you are actually doing.

Is there caffeine in it? +

No. REBUILD is caffeine-free, so it works before an evening session without affecting your sleep. If you want stimulants, take them separately so you can control the dose.
